Has this ever happened to you? You’re sitting at home, waiting for the big game/race/whatever to begin, but first you gotta get through the national anthem. And once that’s finished, you think to yourself, “I could do it better than that!” Well, if that’s the case, you now have the chance to prove you’ve got the chops to do it.

Your Chance To Perform At Bosse Field

The Evansville Otters are officially on the lookout for talented performers to sing the Star-Spangled Banner at historic Bosse Field before Otters home games during the 2026 season.

If you’re a singer, I gotta think performing (or playing) the National Anthem before an Otters game is one of those bucket-list moments. The lineups have been announced, the crowd is ready to go, the Otters have taken the field, and all eyes (and ears) are on you as you kick off the night.

Who Can Audition For The Anthem

Now, keep in mind, the Otters aren’t just looking for traditional singers. They’re open to musicians and even unique, creative takes on the Anthem. Play it on guitar, violin, or saxophone. Heck, play it on a kazoo if you want – if it sounds good, they want to see it!

How To Submit Your Audition

Auditioning is super easy – all you need to do is record a video or audio clip of your performance and send it in. That means you can put your best foot forward, record as many takes as you need, and submit something you feel truly great about.

Ready to go for it? Send your audition (or any questions) to qwatt@evansvilleotters.com and take your shot at the spotlight.
