Martha Stewart and I Agree: This Louisville Flea Market Is the Best in the Country

If you clicked on this story, chances are you are my kind of people. So, hey friend!  Stopping to get an iced coffee and heading to a flea market is my favorite way to spend a day. Can I get an "Amen?" Thrift shops, consignment stores, yard sales, estate sales...are all my happy places.

Thrift Shopping Therapy

There is just something about wandering the endless aisles of a vendor mall that soothes my soul. My grandma and mom passed on their "treasure-hunting" genes to me, I guess. One of my all-time favorites is Fleur de Flea Vintage Market in the Paristown area of Louisville. It is 35,000 sq. feet of knick-knacks, vintage clothes, the most beautiful mid-century furniture, and decor from every decade.

Fleur de Flea is a Favorite

You'll feel like you are exploring your aunt's attic for the coolest dose of nostalgia. Plus, you never know who you will see. I was there shopping after Christmas, and as I flipped through a stack of records, I looked over and Brittany Howard from the Alabama Shakes was right next to me, looking for a gem herself. Great taste!

Best Flea Market in the U.S.

Fleur de Flea has been on Antique Trader's list of best flea markets for years. Even THE Martha Stewart, queen of home decor and style, loves it too! She specifically enjoys the outdoor markets hosted by Fleur de Flea in downtown Louisville.
