Want to Work at a Haunted House? Evansville Haunt Hiring for the Season
The haunting season will be here before you know it, and if you've ever wanted to work at a haunted house, here's your chance!
Halloween Season
One thing I love is that in recent years, it truly seems like Halloween has become almost as much of a season as it is a one-day holiday. Everyone is gearing up for Halloween decorations, putting the finishing touches on their homemade costumes, and getting ready for all the fun costume parties and events they will soon be attending.
Another staple of the Halloween season is haunted houses, and they truly don't get enough credit for the theatrical works of art that they are; they require a full cast and crew.
Haunted Houses / Haunted Attractions
Few things get your adrenaline pumping like a good scare, and when haunted houses open up for the season, thrill seekers from all over flock to them to enjoy the art of a good scare. Anyone can pop out and yell "BOO" and startle you, but a good scare is an art form.
...And so is good scare photography! I mean, look at this photo from Spooky Bee Photography
Not to mention the fact that so much work goes into these haunted attractions that they're almost more like full-scale, immersive, theatrical shows. There is a lot of work that goes into safety, set design, costumes, lighting, sound, and, of course, the scare actors. So pulling off a good haunted attraction is truly no easy task. If you've ever wanted to work at a haunted house, one local haunt has your chance!
