The coldest weather of the year (so far) will be arriving this weekend. Now is a good time to take a few items out of your vehicle that could be problematic in these freezing temperatures.

It's no secret that it has been chilly here in the Evansville area over the past couple of weeks. We've already seen temperatures below freezing (32 degrees). That trend will continue this week. However, this weekend, we will be seeing the coldest air of the year (so far) as a dangerously cold burst of Arctic air makes its way to the Tri-State.

You see that? Lows near single digits on Saturday and Sunday! That's not even including wind chill factors. Seeing what the temperatures will actually feel like makes it even worse to see! I suppose, if there's a bright side to all of this, aside from the freezing cold temperatures, no winter weather is expected over the weekend.

I know that I am not the only person who is not ready for the colder weather, but ready or not, it's coming. One thing that you might not think of doing is checking your vehicle to see if you have anything in there that you shouldn't have when it's below freezing outside.

Don't Leave These Items in Your Vehicle When it's Freezing
