If you love food, apparently, this Indiana town is the best in the entire state.

The term “foodie” can describe anyone who loves good food and isn’t limited to those who just visit classy restaurants. Whether you prefer exploring new restaurants, trying food trucks, or simply cooking at home, living the foodie life can be a lot of fun. As you know, there are a lot of great food options scattered all throughout the Hoosier State.

We all know that it's the bigger cities in America that tend to get the spotlight when it comes to their signature restaurants and celebrity chefs, but some of the best food can oftentimes be found in smaller towns/cities. We're talking about small towns with local legendary barbecue joints, steakhouses, burgers, Italian food, and so much more. One travel website claims that they have found the absolute most exciting in all of Indiana.

The Most Exciting Foodie Town in Indiana

The food website LoveFood recently found the most exciting foodie town in each state. Now, when it comes to Indiana's, I must admit that I was a little surprised by their choice. Mainly because it's a town that I have never been to before. That being said, if the food options are that good, I'll have to change that soon. In any event, the most exciting foodie town in Indiana is Roanoke.

What makes Roanoke such an amazing foodie town? Here's what LoveFood had to say:

Roanoke is known for its surrounding farmlands, so it makes sense that this small town’s premier restaurant, Joseph Decuis, is a farm-to-fork affair. Joseph Decuis is by far Roanoke’s top-rated place to eat, thanks to its charming historical setting and dedication to raising its own wagyu cattle. For a more relaxed setting, Roanoke is also home to the long-running Roanoke Village Inn, while for lunch, pastries, and ice cream, Moose and Mollie’s Café and Gelato is a real treat.

So, have you been to Roanoke? Do you find that this is true? Or, perhaps, is there another Indiana town worthy of the title of best foodie town in Indiana?
