Indiana Festivals

Indiana is no stranger to festivals.  Of course, in the Tri-State, we are very familiar with the West Side Nut Club Fall Festival, which brings thousands of people to the Evansville area every year.  In fact, in 2023 USA Today named the Fall Festival, as the best Autumn Festival in the country. Then there's the annual Covered Bridge Festival in Parke County, Indiana which is the largest festival in the entire state. There are also smaller festivals all over the state that celebrate all kinds of things,  but one recently caught my eye, the Bacon Festival.

Indiana Bacon Festival

Every year Delphi plays host to the Indiana Bacon Festival.  Many foods deserve their own festival, but I have to say bacon is at the very top of that list.  So what will you find at a festival celebrating bacon?

There will be live music, events, food vendors, an annual cook-off, and of course plenty of bacon!

The competition will be fast and furious between our Backyard BBQ competitors who are determined to win our annual cook-off. Our food vendors with their bacon dishes will have you squealing like a pig for seconds. If your stomach feels full, you’ll have time to take it easy while you make room for more because our LIVE music will be amazing! Check out our BAND page!

Just like its delicious namesake, the Indiana Bacon Festival is for the whole family to enjoy. We’ll have a Family Fun Zone filled with fun activities for children of all ages. Plus, there’s the beloved, bacon-eating competition - which may be more enjoyable for the spectators.

The festival will take place on August 24th, and you can get more information about it, here.
