If you're a fan of scary things, this may just be right up your alley!

A Curious Sight

You may remember a few years ago (2019 to be exact) a giant, black and red circus tent popped up in the parking lot of Eastland Mall.  The tent had a very ominous look to it, and it definitely had people wondering what the heck was going on?   Well, it turns out it was a traveling paranormal/horror-themed circus called Paranormal Cirque.

Some friends and I went to one of the Paranormal Cirque shows and had a really good time.  It was eerie, weird, freaky, and an all-around fun time.   According to the Paranormal Cirque website, they describe the show as:

Slow down so you can take it all in…but if you scare easily, you might want to run….as we welcome you into this new world of Paranormal Cirque!

Under this Clown Castle, the black and red big top tent, Acrobats of the Air, Illusionists, freaks, mysterious creatures and all the elements that make one think of a "normal" Circus but that of normal has very little!

A new show with breathtaking implications always poised between fun and the most uninhibited fear that will transport you to a dark world inhabited by creatures with incredible circus art abilities.

A crazy yet fun fusion between Circus, theatre, and cabaret in perfect harmony with the evolution of a show that brings you back to when we dream ... and when we had nightmares and fantasies.

Scare, encompass, amuse and surprise are the ingredients for a mixture of emotions impossible to forget.
This is truly a Paranormal experience like no other.

So basically, this is a freaky horror circus for adults only.

Where to see Paranormal Cirque in Indiana

I keep hoping the Paranormal Cirque show will return by the Tri-State, and that hasn't happened so far.  However, there are a few days when you can catch this show in the Hoosier state this October, just look for the devilish black and red tent!

According to the Paranormal Cirque website, the freaky black and red tent will be set up in Greenwood Indiana for daily shows from  October 17 - 20 and in Indianapolis for daily shows October 24 - 27.  Tickets for these shows are available now, but just as a warning, this is NOT a family-friendly show.

Paranormal Cirque states the show is intended to be rated R, and they recommend it for adults only.  They do say that parents can use their discretion and if they really want to bring their child, no one under 13 will be permitted, and an adult must accompany anyone aged 13-17.
