Hoosier Hysteria Continues To Make History

It's a great day to be a Hoosier fan! Ending their regular season with an undefeated record and knocking off THE Ohio State Buckeyes to win the Big Ten Championship is just the current accolade the Hoosier football team is toting. It's hard to believe, but the next stop for the Hoosiers? The Rose Bowl. That's right...the flippin' Rose Bowl! Why is that so hard to believe? For Hoosier fans like me, we've been waiting for this FOREVER! Before this season, the Hoosier football program had the losingest record in college football. What Coach Curt Cignetti has done with the Hoosiers in his first two years is nothing short of incredible. To put his success in perspective, this year's Big Ten Champion team has zero 5-star recruits, only seven 4-star recruits, and 55 3-star recruits. Ohio State, the defending national champions, was playing with 11 5-star recruits, 56 4-star recruits, and 18 3-star recruits. At a time when collegiate athletes are being paid to play, Cignetti stood his ground and laid out the blueprint for winning with players who aren't paid. What's Next For Hoosier Football

For the first time in school history, IU Football is not only ranked number one, but they've earned their spot in the Rose Bowl. The Hoosiers are headed to Pasadena, California, for the quarterfinals of the College Football Playoffs. The Hoosiers have earned a first-round bye, facing the winner of Alabama versus Oklahoma in the second round. Boonville High School 2023 graduate, Clay Conner, has been seeing some playing time for the team, so make sure to watch for him in California!
