Glow-in-the-dark baseball, otherwise known as Cosmic Baseball, is on tour and will be making stops in Indiana and Kentucky.

In recent years, there has been a surge in a new type of baseball. Sure, you still have those traditional baseball games that you can attend and feel the excitement that goes along with them. However, this new form of baseball is a full-on show. It's like sports meets entertainment...kind of like WWE, in a way. There are a few well-known teams leading the charge with this type of baseball game experience, and one team in particular is known as the first-ever Cosmic Baseball team.

What is Cosmic Baseball?

Cosmic Baseball was created by the Tri-City Chili Peppers, a team in the Coastal Plain League, located in Colonial Heights, Virginia. This game is unlike any other baseball game that you have ever seen because it is an immersive, glow-in-the-dark baseball experience featuring blacklights, neon uniforms, and glowing equipment (balls, bats, bases) that transforms the traditional game into a high-energy party with music, special effects, and unique rules that give fans a unique and unforgettable baseball experience. Lucky for us here in Indiana and Kentucky, the Chili Peppers are taking Cosmic Baseball on the road.

Cosmic Baseball Coming to Indiana and Kentucky

Cosmic Baseball will be coming to Louisville Slugger Field on Friday, June 19th, and Saturday, June 20th. Now, the game on the 20th in Kentucky is already sold out, but there's still a chance for you to snag tickets to the game on the 19th by entering the Cosmic Takeover Lottery. Winners will be announced on January 22nd.

If, by chance, you're not able to attend that game in Louisville, you aren't out of luck completely. The Chili Peppers will also be bringing Cosmic Baseball to Victory Field in Indianapolis too. These are hot items because the game on Saturday, September 19th, sold out in one day. However, tickets are still available via the Cosmic Takeover Lottery for a gam on Friday, September 18th.

Again, these games are truly a fun experience for everyone in the family. However, you're going to want to enter the Cosmic Takeover Lottery ASAP! You can learn more about Cosmic Baseball and take a look at the full schedule by clicking here.
