CFP Championship Game Sets Record For Highest Priced Tickets

Indiana University will play the Miami Hurricanes in the final game of the college football season. Hoosier fans rushed to ticketing websites to get their tickets, only to find out they may have to re-mortgage their home to get them. The most expensive CFP championship game tickets ever; it's hard to find any under $1,000, including alumni tickets. Unfortunately, the primary reason for the steep prices is supply and demand. It's a perfect storm with IU's incredible season and undefeated status increasing demand, alongside the fact that it's ironically a home game for Miami. Lastly, the secondary market of resellers, who recognize the demand and instantly set the tone for overpriced tickets. These factors, among others, contributed to the massive price tag on these tickets. Fear not! Several local businesses have teamed up to give away a pretty sweet prize package, including two tickets to the game and $2,000 in gift cards for travel expenses.
